Samaha Studios ("we", "us") is a video production and photography studio based in Austin, Texas. This policy explains what information samaha-studios.com collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
When you submit the booking form, you choose to send us your name, email address, phone number, requested date, the type of project, and anything you write in the message field. We use that information for one purpose: to reply to your inquiry and, if you book, to plan and deliver your project. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox through Formspree, a third party form processing service. Formspree handles the message in transit and retains a copy in our account. If you would rather not use the form, email us at [email protected] or call 512-731-2102 instead.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the approximate location derived from your IP address, your device type and browser, and the source that referred you, for example a Google search or a link from Instagram. Google Signals is enabled, which means Google may associate this activity with signed in Google users who have turned on Ads Personalization, and may report that data to us in aggregate form only.
We use this information to see which services people are looking for and which channels bring in inquiries. We never see your name, email address, or any other direct identifier through Analytics.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. You can review and control what Google collects about you at myaccount.google.com.
A handful of third parties help the site run. Each one may receive your IP address and basic request information when the relevant part of a page loads:

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. There are no advertising pixels, no retargeting tags, and no third party trackers beyond the services listed. Blocking cookies will not break the site.
Inquiry emails stay in our inbox so we have a record of the conversation and your project. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and is then deleted by Google automatically. If you want your inquiry deleted, ask and we will delete it.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, those rights apply and the same email address is the way to exercise them.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
